Team USA Goulet #29
This was my first experience in Belarus. My friend Scott MacPherson, who hosts top level events around the world called me while I was in Germany in 2008 for StopConcussions Germany event, to see if I had my gear in Europe. He was hosting an event for the President Alexander Lukashenko and they were opening up a new rink in a city 2 hours out of Minsk and needed a few players to fill his roster and asked if I would play for Team USA. Of course I was honoured he had asked me and I jumped on a plane the next day and we played a Senior Team Belarus, which President Lukashenko played with. In one of the games I was awarded player of the game and this was the jersey I wore.
