Walker is the first Australian to play in the NHL, score a goal, win a Stanley Cup with Washington Capitals and the first Australian to score a hat trick on December 10, 2021 against the Detroit Red Wings. Walker played in the 2018 Ice Hockey Classic in Sydney, Australia.
